Mackinac Island

The City of Mackinac Island includes Mackinac Island and Round Island in their entirety. The islands are located in the Straits of Mackinac between the upper and lower peninsulas. Motor vehicles are prohibited by city ordinance. Exceptions include emergency vehicles, snowmobiles, electric wheelchairs for people with disabilities, and golf carts (on-course use only).
